WISHH featured its trade, development and global food security work last week during a Commodity Classic main stage event. With the support of the United Soybean Board, WISHH Executive Director Gena Perry, USB Chair Meagan Kaiser and USSEC Chair Doug Winter spoke at the program moderated by USSEC CEO Jim Sutter.
USB also supported WISHH’s global food security breakfast dialogue attended by more than 100 farmers as well as QSSB and industry representatives. WISHH featured USB Education Committee Chair Laurie Isley, WISHH Chair Roberta Simpson-Dolbeare, ASA Director and WISHH Vice Chair Morey Hill, and USSEC Director and WISHH Committee member Dawn Scheier. Perry moderated the panel where Simpson-Dolbeare shared, “It’s exciting that we’re growing a sustainable crop that we can produce year after year. WISHH finds new opportunities to turn our soy protein into quality nutrition for healthier lives throughout the world.”
