ASA/WISHH recently launched a new set of resource materials aimed at promoting the health advantages of soy protein to the food and beverage industry across Central America and the Dominican Republic. These materials, developed by the Soy Nutrition Institute Global, present the benefits of soy protein in plant-based and other food and beverage applications. They also address popular myths and misunderstandings surrounding soy protein ingredients and traditional soy foods.
The resource materials, translated in Spanish, supplement WISHH’s growing efforts with key accounts in the Dominican Republic and Central America countries. WISHH has increased its outreach to these accounts through webinars, technical assistance consultations, pilot lab trainings, international food industry conference attendance, and by providing more resources for the food and beverage industry to share the health benefits of consuming soy protein with their customers.
The Spanish-language resources also aim to serve as educational tools for WISHH’s strategic partners in the region.
